Antoine: I dream of all things

April 11-15, 2014

OPENS: April 11th, Friday, 6:00 pm

Photographs by 2013-14 SACI Media Area Teaching Assistant Emily Jay.

Emily Jay’s work explores the relationship between beauty and the limen. Using painting, photography, and installation she attempts to catalogue remnants of aesthetic experience encountered in the mundane. She received her MFA from Bowling Green State University and is currently living and working in Florence, Italy.

This body of work is an ongoing project exploring the relationship between promise, breaking, and beauty. It is a photographic exploration of slipping into and out of dreams, as they come to be and as they come to fall apart.
