Now in its 21st edition, Fabbrica Europa, Florence’s annual festival of contemporary arts and creative language in expression and performance runs from May 8 to June 18, 2014. Based in one of the most spectacular examples of industrial re-use in the city, the old train station of Stazione Leopolda, the festival also branches out into many theater venues of the city:

After Maurizio Nannucci’s installation NOMOREEXCUSES, Fabbrica Europa welcomes in the central aisle of the Stazione Leopolda a new site-specific project, that is part of a pathway on the leading figures of international art who deal with the extraordinary dimensions of the environment, with works on the interdisciplinary nature of techniques and languages – that of architecture and public space – in tune with the project outlines expressed by the Festival since the the Nineties. Unusual Party is a cooperation between Unusual Florence and Fabbrica Europa. An event with a very special line-up, the French duo Nôze and two interesting Tuscan music projects: Celluloid Jam, with their electro-mystical atmospheres, and Camillocromo Beat Band, a new project of electronic jazz/swing arising from the collaboration between Camillocromo and the dj/producer Ghiaccioli e Branzini and the vocalist Piero Gesué.
