SACI student wins Best of Show at ArtClash exhibition, 2 chosen for second exhibition opening March 20 at 6pm

SACI congratulates MFA in Photography student, Hana Sackler for winning this year’s Best of Show award at the ArtClash 2014-2015 exhibition held last night at California State University in Florence, curated by Marsha Steinberg. Eleven works selected by an outside jury including Hana’s winning photograph and a painting by SACI undergraduate Anastasia Soboleva for inclusion in a second exhibition that will held at the Consiglio Regionale of Tuscany in Florence, opening on Friday at 6pm (see exhibition information below). Both works will become part of the permanent collection of the Contemporary Art Museum of Florina in Greece.

This year, 4 SACI students were invited to participate in the ArtClash group exhibition involving a collaboration between 14 US and Italian programs in Florence, the Region of Tuscany, and the Contemporary Art Museum of Florina in Greece. Representing SACI are: Hollace Kutay, Hana Sackler, Daniel Schoeneck, and Anastasia Soboleva.
