SACI MFA field trip to Rome’s MAXXI

SACI’s first-year and second-year MFA in Studio Art students have been traveling around the country catching art fairs and contemporary art exhibitions at museums and galleries. They recently went to visit Rome’s Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo (MAXXI) to see the Huang Yong Ping exhibition, Baton De Serpent (through May 24, 2015). When in Rome, they also saw the Matisse. Arabesque show at the Scuderie del Quirinale (through June 21, 2015).

Last weekend, the MFA students went to Milan’s MiArt contemporary art fair, where they were able to see work by SACI MFA DIS instructor, Luca Bertolo, in the SpazioA gallery stand. They also went to the Palazzo Reale where they saw the exhibit Growing Roots: 15 Years of Furla Art Award, and to the Museo del Novecento Museum.

See the SACI website for more information on SACI field trips and graduate programs.
