Artigianato e Palazzo @ the Palazzo Corsini, Florence: May 14-17, 2015

artigianatoThe XXIth edition of Artigianato e Palazzo is taking place May 14-17, 2015. This is your chance to visit the gorgeous private gardens of the Palazzo Corsini and to experience artisan handicraft demonstrations and shop for unique hand-made products. Many of the skills on display are traditional Florentine trades that have been handed down through the centuries and many are risking extinction due to the lack of new generations taking on the trades.

More than 80 artisans from all over Italy and abroad will display and demonstrate their craft trades and techniques using various materials such as glass, fabric, paper, wood, stone, metals, and more. Support local artisans and keep their traditions alive!

This year’s edition celebrates the Fabriano paper company with the demonstrations and an exhibition, 750 anni + 1, Fabriano è carta dal 1264.
