The major event conceived for contemporary art and its public is now in its eleventh year. Since its inception, the Day of Contemporary Art has been supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, and has obtained the sponsorship of Italy’s leading institutions.

SACI's Palazzo MaidoffSACI invites the general public to meet and interact with young contemporary artists during a SACI MFA Open Studio event on October 10th from 4-7pm where visitors can experience art in the making, and visit the Jules Maidoff Palazzo Gallery, which will be featuring works by Daniele Nannini, Animal Portraits.

They specialize in Painting, Drawing, or Photography, and work in studios in a fully renovated Renaissance palazzo in Florence’s historic center. The palazzo includes a contemporary art gallery that features works by emerging and established artists of both local and international stature. SACI also offers a one-year MA in Art History.
