A journey into the universe of one of the most famous contemporary artist: the American Jeff Koons. His works, from Balloon Dogs to Flower Puppy, have become real contemporary icons, realized in his studio with a team of more than 100 assistants. The film is realized on the occasion of his huge retrospetcives at Whitney Museum, New York and at Centre Pompidou, Paris. The documentary try to find out what is the secret behind the sucess of this controversial artist.

Lo Schermo dell’Arte Film Festival is a program of art films and documentaries dedicated to contemporary art and its protagonists. This year the program, curated by Leonardo Bigazzi, focuses on artists that in these years have been or will be part of important exhibition and projects for the city of Florence: Jeff Koons, Jan Fabre e Erwin Wurm.

The project is realized within the Estate Fiorentina 2016 and part of the film festival “Apriti Cinema” organized by Quelli della Compagnia di FST – Fondazione Sistema Toscana for the Comune di Firenze.
