Shortly after completing SACI’s Post-Bac in Conservation Program, SACI alumna Reed Hudson (Fall 2015-Spring 2016) landed an important internship at the Vatican Museums in Rome. During the 6-month internship with the Polymateric Conservation Lab, Reed is working on a small gilded and lacquered bronze statue under the guidance of Dottoressa Stefania Pandozy.

Students who have completed their SACI Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Conservation have entered specialized apprenticeships and others have continued study at the graduate level in Europe or the United States. Through dedication and determination, many have progressed to assume roles as conservators for museums, galleries, and private restoration studios. Some have opened their own conservation studios in the U.S. and Canada.
