SACI MFA in Studio Art and MFA in Photography students at Commencement 2017

On April 24, 2017, the commencement ceremony for SACI’s MFA in Studio Art and MFA in Photography students was held at the Palazzo Medici Riccardi in the Sala Luca Giordano, in Florence, Italy. A video featuring each student highlighted moments of their 2-year experience in SACI’s Masters programs. SACI President, Steven Brittan welcomed all guests, and graduate program Directors and seminar instructors, Filipe Rocha da Silva, Daria Filardo, Romeo Di Loreto, and Jacopo Santini shared their reflections on the students whom they mentored for two years. The Keynote Address was given by Camille Norment, an Oslo-based multimedia artist who works internationally with sound, installation, sculpture, drawing, performance and video. Degrees were awarded by Steve Brittan, Filipe Rocha da Silva, and SACI President Emeritus, Mary Beckinsale. The graduate art exhibition, NONFINITO, was held at SENSUS – Luoghi per l’Arte Contemporanea, April 18-24, 2017.
