Maria Antonia Rinaldi, SACI Faculty Member, Participates in Nuovo Cantieri Culturali Isolotto on September 24

Maria Antonia Rinaldi, Director of MA in Art History Program at SACI, will participate in Nuovo Cantieri Culturali Isolotto organized by Compagnia Virgilio Sieni. On September 24th at 4:30pm at Galleria Tigli in Piazza dei Tigli, she will offer a lesson on land artist Richard Long’s “Spiral”.

Nuovo Cantieri Culturali Isolotto is a three-day festival which invites residents of the Isolotto neighborhood and the greater city, arts professionals and students to engage in a reflection on the relationship between the urban landscape and the body, and the ways in which community can be shaped through conversation and action. From September 22-24, the public will be invited to participate in walks and activities throughout the area, crossing paths with choreographed and spontaneous actions, and rediscovering places which are normally closed but re-opened as galleries for the occasion. Also featuring workshops, performances and lectures, the festival aims to re-envision Isolotto, a neighborhood outside of the city center, as a cultural laboratory and site of renewal for the city.
